I know that barely any people really cares for the game of duel monsters but might as well put this here as a discussion topic

I have been thinking about certain games that i have been watching saying that Infinity is just too difficult to get over. Well not exactly, If you think about it, it's just like when quasar got into the game. It was hard back then im sure. But now that we have cards that easily get over both, I have been wondering which one is better. Quasar or Infinity. In my opinion i say quasar is better for a couple of reasons. Even if you do get over quasar it has that destruction effect to bring out shooting star dragon. Plus it has that double attack that we all hate, the common negation effect, and as well the massive draw power the deck gets before it is brought out (Spam Synchro)
Infinity also has it's benefits too. It is able to be brought out in pretty much every rank 4 spam deck. As well purely with cybers or any other level 5 machine type deck (Dinomist). And has the 101 effect of taking an attack position monster. and not just the opponents. The attack boost is also a factor within the game. It is easily a near 3k beater without using the effect to gain a material.

However both of these cards share weaknessess. Negation effect into another destrcution card which can hurt the player using quasar or infinity greatly.

Thats my standpoint on it anyways. Whats yours?

they really arent comparable

quasar obviously is a "stronger" card on the field

infinity is more relevant

Basically what Uguu said. While Quasar may pose a more relevant threat once summoned due to its OTK potential, negation, and floating, it's much harder to get out. Infinity, between the multitude of machine-type archetypes that can make him, along with Ptolemaus, is much more relevant in general because of its accessibility. So, to clarify: if we are to include the requirements to summon and ease at which those requirements are met, Infinity is leagues better. If we assume the card is already on the field, Quasar wins.
