A Few Suggestions - not making SDA totally geared towards Yu-Gi-Oh, perhaps? (Vote)

Hello all, I have been inactive lately, and I apologise. The main reason I've been inactive is because I've been playing SMITE (a MOBA) and competitive Pokemon (on Pokemon Showdown).

However, with the bad comes the good, because playing these other games and seeing their huge community has made me thinking; "Why are we not expanding this to a wider audience, rather than just the Yu-Gi-Oh one?"

My suggestion after realising this is that we add 2 more sections to SDA - a Pokemon and MOBA one, and might eventually rename it into something related to not just Yugioh.

Doing this and "advertising" this on places such as DN or PS (Pokemon Showdown) will make even more people join this. It will be fun for everyone!

Who knows? Maybe we'll get them to like Yugioh, or maybe they'll get you to like MOBAs or Pokemon.

We can all learn alot by doing this. The possibilities are endless!

Unfortunately, I realise that others on SDA might not share my positive opinion, which is why I'm gonna do a vote here to see what they think of this idea. This will also be a good way for an Admin to reflect on whether he should add the section(s) or not.

I like this idea, but we are kinda doing that already with the roleplay, but I fear it is not enough. We have a Pokemon section. I would also add sections to the roleplay, such as arenas, accepted characters, pending characters, skill sheet, main roleplay, side roleplay, and roleplay suggestions. I would also like to get rid of the tiny Gajeels in every bit of GFX, since they are a massive eye sore.

I vote for nothing. We have a Pokemon section and I personally despise MOBAs with a passion. I rather have a fully developed roleplay section.

Alright 2cents time!

First of all I voted to add neither, mainly reason being I don't like either really(competitive pokemon and MOBA).

Secondly I'm pretty interested that you posted we should put a pokemon topic when we already have that(wondering if you even did any research after you came back from your long ass hiatus). If you did, how did you miss something very obvious? If you didn't, why post straight after you came back?

Also I find it weird you want to change this academy so much, even though I don't see this site keeling over soon(seeing that this site has about 40 people a day).

But that was my 2 cents on the matter.

Making it more than a Yugioh and Rp forum will take too much work, i dont think it can be handled.

At first the hearthstone section was cool, we had like 8 or 9 people that wanted it, but then nobody posted anything =/ Unless our player base changes dramatically I think we should keep to what the majority use this forum for: Yugioh and RPs. If people want to go on a forum for mobas, pokemon, hearthstone, whatever, then we are not the forum to do that. Imagine if pokemon games suddenly had a tower defense game within the main game. Not only would it be unpopular, but it would most likely be underdeveloped. I think it would be a similar thing for adding pokemon and mobas to the forum. If you really want to talk about these things, then there is an off-topic section. We don't want to restrict you from talking about this, but with the current player base I don't think we have enough to justify a new section.

i vote add neither. we already have a hearthstone and pokemon sections and nobody posts in either. just ent worth it m8s.
