PostSubject: The Jester's Poem   Mon Nov 02, 2015 10:21 pm

Ok so I had wrote down a small poem of sorts for a literary magazine and figured why not post it here. Tell me what you think.

==========================================
“Look! There he goes!” say the townsfolk as the garish and clownish figure skips around through the town. He seems as though he is the average man, however a good look at him speaks volumes as he is anything but. The man has been called a fool, immature, insane, however he prefers to be himself and be a simple Jester.

In the town of Salem, tragedies seem to fester. The Sheriff and Investigator work together in solving this problem while little Mr. Vigilante should be careful; one wrong move and he is done for. Escorts and Lookouts watch around and Veterans go on alert at night. However none so quite like him are foolish. The medium is doing a séance and a regrets a curse, lest she be one of two birds in the purse. The jailor is off hauling away suspects and townies, though his methods sure seem downy. The Serial Killer and the Mafia are out tonight oh my! Let’s just hope they know how to cry.

However the guilty should be aware. If they so much as hurt the Jester, he is sure to pester. Lynch him if you must but this is a no-go. As this Jester has made his fair share of deals. One such will haunt you so much; you would pray it was not real. You see, the spirits enjoy his ballads and tunes. Turns the frown upside-down. A lynched Jester brings forth revenge on the fullest of moons. And this revenge, his long destined goal, is as vast as the sandiest of dunes.
The guilty will spill blood the following night and in the will reads the Jester’s last ballad of Tunes:

-----------------------------------------------------------------
“Hi ho, hi ho, it’s off to death I go
With a hip and a hop and a yip and a yay
The guilty won’t live to see another day!”

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Now this target could be anyone; young or old, big or small. So be wary young boys and girls. Unless a Salem Jester comes for you. Try to make peace with him or else like the guilty, you will be hunt without a clue.
