Chapter 8: [The Monster]

Rex began to hum along with the Tetris song.

Gajeel sighed, walking up to Cory. "Mind not going berserk for the smallest things?"

"Alanna! Clementine accidentally made a fire!" The gernman voice is heard, yelling at Alanna through comms."

"God fucking dammit. I GOTTA GO!" Alanna then turns off her comms.

Echo simply stood back while watching the fighting. The Watcher had returned already, covering her body in eyes once more. Although most found the squelching, wet spheres disturbing, Echo found some perverse comfort in them. After finally breaking herself to a point where they no longer had an effect on her, she felt at ease withing the pool of gazing pupils.

She slowly made her way over to the window, the eyes carrying her so she didn't have to walk. She gazed wistfully into the darkness of the forest, waiting patiently for the worst to come.

It couldn't be too long now.

"Is it bad, that I feel like we should all just start saying our goodbyes?" Rex sighed, hugging his knees to his chest.

Gajeel turned to Asuya. "Why don't you tell them what you want exactly? What do you want us to be, with you?"

Juuna looks at Rex. *What do you mean rex? We aare friends. I dont see wy we would have to. *
I lay a hand on Rex head and scrartch behind his ear

Rex murred softly as he was scratched behind his ear, but when he saw Boei land in front of everyone he snapped back up.

Gajeel stared at Kale, but not Boei.

Raiden was leaning against a tree, not caring. "Yo, I'm not part of this team. Just here for when someone acts stupid and they need a new limb. Looking at you Jaden."

shina looked up at the masive girl in purple armor and said "so....this is who has been chasing us"

Kiru looked up and saw Kale and Boei, "Hey! You're that person that came to save me from those asshole kidnappers! I didnt know you were with my buddy kale! Anyway, these guys actually arnt ALL bad, just most of them"

Echo turned around slowly, her Watcher sending spikes through the roof as the eyes squirmed and shivered. Her breathing became ragged, and she stared with her bare eyes into the auras of the two newcomers. This was bad.

"And if we resist?"

Cory heard what Shina said and soon became enraged again but instead of being enraged by Jaden and wanting to tear out his throaght its now the one in purple armor that Cory wants to do this to.

shina looked at cory that was still traped in the dome, she snaped her fingers and the dome was gone "do anything stupid and your going back in it" she than looked back up at the two that had showed up

"There's no point in resisting."

Gajeel stood next to Tara, seeming perfectly calm. One hand was inside his trench coat, holding marker kunai. "I have a feeling we aren't gonna win." He said to Tara. "And I'm worried about what's gonna happen to you."

Cory dashed in front of Shina having his back towards her ready to fight and to protect Shina as heavy amount of mist seeps from him.

Juuna just walked a little back. he doesnt wan tto be in the way. I keep my weapons hiddenand waited for the decisin if we wod fight if surrender. I atleast prepare mysel to defend myself

Jaden closed his eyes and began to clear his mind, he needed to think of a way out of this so he began to block out everything else, even Ladd. In doing this Ladd went into Tara's mind and said "Hello you two, sorry for the interruption but..." Ladd laughs "I think he is finally realizing how he feels"

shina walked next to jaden and poked him in the back, telling him "is now the best time to take a nap?"

Jadens eyes slowly opened and when they did, they were red "Im concentrating on what to do, Id rather not die today"

"Right." He nodded with a smile to Tara. "We'll go out swinging." Crackles of electricity began to flow around his body, a circle of lightning surrounding his feet. "Slots."
"Gotcha!"

"Now give me something good. Crazy Slots."
Slots slot machinebegan to roll, then with a shining light the number was revealed."3!" Slots changed forms, turning into a long rifle in Gajeel's hand, which appeared to be absolutely beautiful. It's form was perfect for his size and weight.
"Finally a good roll." He looked at Tara. "Hope we at least share the same cell."

Jaden quickly shouted out "Enough!" Slowly standing up he got between the team and their attackers "I will say this once, let us leave or you indeed will put the entire world in danger, we commited no crimes, rogue members of the team did, and if you do not believe us and insist on trying to capture us then we will fight and kill you" Jaden said with a barely audible growl escaping his throat, darkness seemed to be surrounding Jaden as he spoke as if he was about to go off but was resisting it.
