OCG Banlist Revealed

So the OCG banlist has finally been revealed, and I'll leave the link here. What do you guys think of it? Thoughts, opinions? Personally, I'm rather indifferent on it, and find it will make no change to the current meta-game. Well, I could be wrong.

In all seriousness though, they have a pretty diverse format as it is because they did a fantastic job earlier, although I would think people in Japan would have liked to see heavy come back and feather duster banned and other stuff like that. Ultimately though I don't think this was a bad call. There are some cards that may merit getting hit (chicken race comes to mind), but are simply too new for Konami's standards.

Actually, most the OCG is pretty unanimous on wanting Harpie's over Heavy, due to lack of pendulum abuse. Realistically, the power of Harpie's is less threatening than the self-enabling combos Heavy can perform now.

Also, as for Chicken Race, I sort of feel RML should be hit before Chicken Race, and then hit Chicken Race from there if necessary.

Also, yeah, for anybody reading this and not posting "WTF KONAMI DOESN'T CARE ABOUT THEIR FAN BASE", understand this was one of the OCG's favorite formats in a while. In a meta usually dominated by 2-3 decks, this diverse and chaotic time period was very welcome over there. As weird as it seems, from the eyes of an OCG duelist, this is pretty okay.

Well in this format sure it would be dumb, but imagine if this happened in the hat format. I wouldn't be salty at all. They basically did this in that format anyway! They limited geargiagear and then just did a bunch of flavorful stuff I guess to make it look like they did something. Even the gear hit didn't stop gears as immediately after they were topping, primarily with the karakuri build. My point is that it's basically the hat format over there.. EVERYTHING is viable so why go through the effort of hitting anything?

Even at that it was HAT or geargia at the top everything else was a tad lower..still was diverse nonetheless
