Chapter 5: [Undercover]

Jaden chuckles and pats her head for a second before closing his eyes

Gajeel sighed and shook his head. "Kids..."

Jaden took another sip of his tea "I just hope she is okay" Jaden said with worry for his friend

Cobra came down and sat on the furniture.


(Intelligence) "Is that boy so clueless"
(Greed) "Cant he tell"

"Leaving the city hu," cobra says. "If you are in need of ship, cobra stretches his neck collar, "I maybe of acceptance.", Cobra smiled showing his fangs.

"So you have your own hu, but it isnt a surprise, after all you arnet that poor now are you. For being so powerful i wonder what your doing in a grovel like this." Cobra stood up and rustled his hair.

"Why would you care?" Gajeel stared at Cobra.

"Oh, I forgot to mention Jaden. That leg is loaded with weapons. You know how your arm has a laser? Yeah, try a 50 milimeter ion cannon for size."

Max nodded approvingly. "Impressive. I could probably upgrade the leg later, and maybe you could do the same with the arm."
B.U.N.N.Y scanned Jaden's leg. "Nothing I haven't seen before, but still quite the handiwork."

Max shook his head. "Nah, I used a lightweight structure for the synthetic bone and micro-sized ligaments. The bone weight is more in relation to a bird than a human, so it's not stunting his growth any time soon. Besides, he's already pretty much at his adult height. However, putting in some adamantine pieces might help, and maybe upgrading the weapons, too. Looks like he'll need more than laser spheres."

Meanwhile, B.U.N.N.Y was taking a look at the leg, slowly repairing the bugs with his neural network system. "A few here, a few there...I'll have this fixed up in a jiffy."

Harmony shook her head at them. "Guys, come on. Give Jaden a little space."

Willow let out a bored sigh and stretched her arms over her head. With a slight shiver, she exhaled calmly and looked over at her sister, who was playing with her hair.

"Hey sis...this is getting boring wouldn't you say?" Willow tilted her mask over her head so she could look at Asuya, who continued to play with her hair. Before she could respond she let out a bored yawn.

"Yeah...what do you wanna do?" She asked. Willow tapped her chin in thought.

"I guess we could see how the team's doing. Who knows, they might still need our help. Lover boy may have blown one chance but we could give him a second one. Want to go?" When Asuya shrugged, Willow opened up a shroud. Asuya walked inside of it before Willow nodded to the girl and Marshall and said "Have fun" before walking into it herself.

At the apartment, the shroud opened up in front of the building and both sisters stepped out. Looking down, Asuya saw the door had no knob, as if it was melted by someone, or something, but she shrugged it off and punched the door open.

"Knock, knock..." Asuya said as she stared into the apartment.

Cobra on the couch saw asuya walk back in. 

(Intelligence) "Be smart cobra, dont let rage or greed interfere"

He smiled friendly and invitingly "hello asuya."

Asuya placed her hands in her pockets, standing there with a bored expression on her face. Behind her, Willow poked her head over her shoulder, a smile on her face as she waved.

"Hello there! We just came to see how lover boy's doing after his recent fuck up."

"Oh, you're actually back? How long before you leave again?" Gajeel looked at her with a neutral expression. "Anyways, welcome back."

Asuya remained silent, her eyes shifting to Gajeel. She couldn't remember him, but something in her mind told her he was annoying. She rolled her eyes as the two of them stepped into the apartment. Willow looked around with a disgusted face.

"Ugh...Can't believe you lived here for a month, sis...This place is a dump. And I've seen some ugly places...#69 being one of them." Willow smiled. "Until I renovated of course."

"Nice idea." Max remarked.

"No need to replace it. It should be working rather well now." B.U.N.N.Y said.

Harmony backed up in alarm when she saw the both of them.

Cobra stands up and gestures them to sit in the sofa. "Sit, sit, what kind if hosts would we be if we let stand. Espiccly guests like yourselves"

Willow rested her hands on Asuya's shoulders and gently led her to the couch with a smile.

"Such hospitality! I can't believe my sister hated you so much. We'd be happy to oblige." Asuya and Willow sat down upon the sofa, Willow crossing her legs while Asuya played with her hair.

"So, pray tell, what happened to Lover boy after we left?"

"Oh my, seriously? First his arm and now his leg..." Willow folded her hands upon her lap. Asuya remained silent. Willow then looked over at Tara.

"Oh she still doesn't remember a thing. I know she hated him because I'm the one who picked that memory out, little Tara." With a wicked smile, Willow giggled before looking back around at the apartment. She then looked back over at Cobra.

"Dear boy, Cobra, if I recall...do you have refreshments? Asuya and I are quite parched.."
